'It's very easy to use and the "s" shape of the design allows you to put pressure on the right spot to work on. The booklet that comes with it shows you several variations on use. I've found that by using it while lying down you can use the bed/floor as a fulcrum and your bodies own weight to apply correct amount of pressure. I've use this while sitting or standing. The product also comes apart easily into two pieces that fit nicely into a backpack. I take it between the office and home. One trick I've discovered is to shake it while you are applying pressure or rotate it so that the point of pressure moves, this is great when working with spots near your shoulder blades for the back the shaking and fulcrum work really well. The product is made of some sort of high impact plastic it is very hard and rugged and has lasted traveling in luggage and such for several years now.
